When you donate to the Humane Society of Uvalde, you may choose how your would like your contribution to be used. If you’re not sure where to donate, our general fund is always a great option.
General Fund
These funds are used for all financial needs of the Humane Society of Uvalde including veterinary care, food and housing for our animals, and daily office operations.
Building Fund
We are excited to announce a 10-year goal of opening a premiere animal facility. Your financial partnership in this goal is greatly needed! Donate to the building fund now and check back on our website for more information as we develop milestones.
Spay/Neuter Fund
These funds go directly into our spay/neuter account, which allows us to distribute low-cost vouchers to the community. Learn more about this important program here.
Pet Sponsorship
We are excited to offer the opportunity for you to sponsor an individual pet in our program! You can make a one-time donation or subscribe to our sponsorship program for 6, 12, 18, or 24 months. If you see a specific animal on our website that you would like to support, simply note that animal’s name when making a donation.
Rescue Angels
Learn more about our veterinary costs and become a “Rescue Angel” by donating toward a specific veterinary need. Learn more about this program here.
Memorial or Honorarium
Making a donation in someone’s name is a wonderful way to honor or remember a friend, loved one, or a family pet. We will send a notification of the donation to whomever you specify, either via a physical card or email. In addition, the individual being honored will have their name added to to the Honorarium and Memorials List.
